Expert Introduction

Hu Chuanpeng is a lecturer at the School of Psychology, Nanjing Normal University. In 2012~2017, he conducted doctoral research and obtained a doctorate degree in the Department of Psychology, Tsinghua University, and in 2017~2020, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Leibniz Institute for Resilience, Germany. Research interests include self-perception, socioeconomic status and brain, and reproducibility. Chuanpeng Hu was one of the Center's earliest ambassadors for Open Science in East Asia and served as the Assistant Director of the Psychological Science Accelerator, a global network of psychological science laboratories involving more than 500 laboratories worldwide. Founded the OpenScience public account to promote open science and reproducibility-related expertise, with more than 16,000 followers, and co-founded the Chinese Association for Psychological & Brain Science in Europe. He has participated in a number of large-scale international collaborative projects on reproducibility issues, and the results of the projects have been published in Nature, Nature Human Behavior, etc. As the first/corresponding author, he has published 21 papers in Chinese and English journals such as Neurosci Beiobehav Rev, Scientific bulletin, Collabra: Psychology, etc. Serves as a member of the Young Editorial Board of the SSCI journal Collabra: Psychology, and is the editor of the Royal Society Open Science; Reviewer of more than 10 journals such as Social Psychological and Personality Science and Journal of Psychology.
