Expert Introduction

Since 1997, he has worked in Peking University Library, successively serving as Director of the System Department, Assistant to the Director, and Deputy Director (2008-2019). He is currently a research librarian. He received a Master of Science degree in Library and Information Management from the University of Wisconsin in 1996 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Electronic Technology from Zhejiang University in 1986. His research interests include open access policy, open knowledge base, open science, scientific data management, development trend of library integrated system, next-generation library service platform, digital library, digital special collection construction, digital scholarship, digital humanities, library marketing, library evolution and transformation, etc. He has long been engaged in the management and research of library information architecture planning, design and implementation, and ICT technology application. He has undertaken and completed a number of national scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Social Science Foundation of China, the Key Projects of the Basic Work Special Fund of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and CALIS. He is currently a member of the IFLA Library Management and Marketing Committee, a judge of the IFLA Marketing Award, a member of the COAR Working Group of the International Open Access Knowledge Base Alliance, the vice chairman of the Chinese Index Society, and a member of the Chinese Library Standards Committee Advisory), the China University Institutional Repository Alliance, the China University Research Data Management Alliance and other international and domestic library organizations.
